MALLORCA’S COVES AND CAVES

Our speedboat trip

What will be the planning of our boat trip?

We will depart from Puerto de Alcudia heading east to Artá, sailing through the crystal-clear waters of Mallorca. We will pass Son Real, Son Serra de Marina and Betlem. Then, we will anchor in a cove for a refreshing swim, continue towards Cap Farrutx where we will explore various marine caves, and on the way back, we will make another stop for swimming if the weather allows.

Our boat tour to visit coves and caves in Mallorca starts at Puerto de Alcudia. We will begin by cruising along the coast and making stops to pick up other passengers at various points along the bay. The pickup points include Puerto de Alcudia, Sunwing, Ciudad Blanca and Las Gaviotas.

After the last pickup at Las Gaviotas, we head towards the Llevant Peninsula Nature Reserve, skirting Alcudia Bay to admire its stunning coves and beaches. During the journey, you will see the landscapes of Can Picafort, a lively tourist centre with wide beaches and a vibrant nightlife.

Later, we will pass the Son Real necropolis, an ancient Talaiotic cemetery dating back to the Iron Age, which offers a fascinating glimpse into Mallorca’s prehistoric era. We then continue towards Son Serra de Marina, a small, quiet village known for its pristine beaches and relaxed atmosphere.

Next, we will sail near Colonia de Sant Pere, a charming fishing village with a picturesque harbour. Further along, we will pass by Betlem, a small cluster of houses with spectacular views of the sea and mountains, before reaching Cala Clara.

At Cala Clara, we will make a stop for a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters. This small, charming corner is known for its natural beauty and tranquillity. We will continue our adventure towards Cap Farrutx, where we will explore various marine caves. If the weather permits, our captain will take us into one of them so we can appreciate its beauty up close and close to others to enjoy them in a special way. In addition to its caves, Cap Farrutx is famous for its cliffs and unique rock formations, offering an impressive and mysterious landscape.

If we have enough time, we will head to Cala Aubarca for another refreshing swim. This cove is known for its wild beauty and crystal-clear waters and is perfect for taking a dip and enjoying the natural surroundings. If time is limited, we will have a swim on the way back at Cala Clara instead.

Finally, we will return to Puerto de Alcudia, concluding our wonderful excursion along the east coast of Mallorca.

It is important to note that the route may vary depending on weather conditions. In such cases, the excursion is usually redirected towards Pollensa Bay and Formentor.

Join us for an unforgettable experience, discovering the most stunning coves and caves of Mallorca!

Great tour, but customer service could improve

19 de April de 2025

We booked the 3.5-hour cave tour and, overall, the experience at sea was very good, with beautiful scenery and an interesting route. However, there was a misunderstanding at the beginning. I had lost the booking receipt, and when I mentioned it to the staff member assisting us, the reaction was a bit unpleasant. Despite that awkward moment, the tour itself was excellent and we really enjoyed it. I would just suggest a friendlier approach from the staff on land.

Caves, swimming, and a great time with the family

14 de September de 2024

We did Route 6 and had a fantastic time. The tour lasts about 3 hours in total: 45 minutes sailing out, a stop for a 20-minute swim, a visit to three impressive caves, and another swim stop before heading back. We were two adults and two children, and it cost us €192 — totally worth it. Super fun and perfect for families.

A great morning exploring caves

23 de July de 2024

We did the cave tour on the north side of the island and absolutely loved it. It lasts about three hours and we stopped at two beautiful coves where we swam for around 30 minutes each. They provided everything we needed, like snorkel masks and life vests. Everything was very well organized. It’s the perfect activity to spend the morning doing something different. We ended up exhausted but happy.

Favorite memory from our vacation

23 de June de 2024

This excursion was the highlight of our entire trip. We chose the route through coves and caves, and it was absolutely spectacular. We stopped twice to swim. We even jumped off the boat and saw lots of fish in incredibly clear water. The guides were super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even more special. The only thing is that they don’t speak French during the tour, but honestly, it wasn’t a big issue.
